I met Logue back in the late 1960s, when he was living in a garret mews just off the Portobello Road - the writer Chris Robbins and I were developing a project - later called Canned London by art-director David Hillman - a kind of Fluxus art book-box collecting together work by and on the happening artists of that glossy period - people like the illustrator and airbrush artist Alan Aldridge, Anthony Haden Guest the journalist, the feminist Germain Greer, the photographers Brian Duffy and David Bailey, Twiggy, Barry Miles, Marian Faithful -  and many more we intended to invite -

 - just think of Peter Jenner, Marian Faithful, Joe Boyd, Hoppy Hopkins, Barbara Hulaniki, Mary Quant, Peter Cook, Jeremy Geidt, Syd Barrett, Verrall Dunlop, Felix Dennis, Richard Neville, Eduardo Paolozzi, Richard Hamilton, the cybernetic artist and philosopher Roy Ascott…many, many more).
